From conception, to financing, to initial operations, Ms. Bertone has an intricate understanding of entrepreneurial endeavors and the needs associated with owners of companies.
Working extensively with both buyers and sellers, including private placement and equity funds, Ms. Bertone helps to insure that the most beneficial agreements are reached for all parties.
Ms. Bertone spoke at the National Transportation & Logistics Association's on the topic of Mergers & Acquisitions in the delivery and transportation industry and also at Courier Magazine's annual conference.
Ms. Bertone is accredited with the distinction of Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) designated by the AMAA organization.
Ms. Bertone is an honors graduate of the University of North Carolina. She has spoken nationally on the subject of buying and selling companies and has written several articles on the subject which have been published.
For the past ten years prior to joining CO Group, Ms. Bertone was involved in the start-up of various small and midsize companies including a domestic airline, a resort development company and an international telecommunications joint venture. She has also worked with privately held off-shore corporations and foreign governments.
